Over recent years the School Opinion Survey has shown favourable results in data and strong academic achievements of students.
Victoria Park State School is well known for high achievements in sporting competitions and also in the cultural arena having one of the best Instrumental music programs in the Mackay region.
The wonderful families that have come through our school and some generation after generation and is a tribute to the excellent respect and rapport that has occurred over time. Being an older part of Mackay many of these families still reside in the area and are proud to be known as past Victoria Park State School students.

Prep Transition program Term 3 & 4 of each year (Preparing kindy children for the transition into prep)

Award winning Instrumental Music Program and Strings Program with many opportunities to perform in the community throughout the year. Being invited every year to perform for Senior Citizens week is also a very special event for us.
Swimming Pool - Providing swimming lessons for all year levels from Prep to Year 6. Prep only swim in Term 4.
After school homeowrk program supported by the Indigenous group and also the Smith Family.
